Victoria Castillo, PhD, BCBA-D, is a Doctoral Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) with more than 10 years of experience supporting autistic individuals and their families across home, school, clinic, and community settings. She currently serves as the Clinical Director of In-Home Services at Little Spurs Autism Centers, where she leads the development and expansion of high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based ABA services for families receiving care in their homes, right in her own hometown. 

Dr. Castillo was born and raised in San Antonio, and as a sibling to an autistic brother, she is passionate about bringing quality therapy services to people's homes. 

After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, Dr. Castillo's education took her to Los Angeles, where she completed a Master of Science in Behavioral Psychology from Pepperdine University and a clinical practicum experience working all across the West LA region. From there, Dr. Castillo continued on to obtain a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Van Loan School at Endicott College in Beverly, MA, where her doctoral research examined the effects of empathy training on racial bias.

Throughout her career, Dr. Castillo has served in direct clinical, supervisory, quality assurance, insurance, and organizational leadership roles across the country, including California, Arizona, North Carolina, Minnesota, ,  Her diverse experience has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of delivering high-quality ABA services across multiple systems of care. She is especially passionate about developing clinicians, strengthening clinical systems, and ensuring that families receive ethical, individualized, and compassionate services that promote meaningful outcomes.

In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Castillo serves as an adjunct professor in the graduate Applied Behavior Analysis programs at Pepperdine University and Endicott College, where she enjoys mentoring the next generation of behavior analysts. She is committed to advancing the field through education, research, and dissemination of behavior science, and has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, presented at national and international conferences, and served as a guest reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals.

I am passionate about disseminating behavior science to improve everyday life and ensuring the delivery of quality ABA treatment. I created Behavior Science Center as a space to hold resources and support opportunities for individuals, families, and professionals seeking to explore the benefits of behavior science within their own lives.

Quick Insight

On-the-go Behavior Science Support 

Quick Insight is a brief (20-30min), focused consultation designed to help you gain clarity, composure, and confidence through specific moments. This service is ideal for on-the-go support, for parents, professionals, and students, such as:

- preparing your family/littles for upcoming events or debriefing after unexpected events  

- preparing your family/littles for transitions or changes

- managing sibling interactions, home behavior systems, and routines

- preparing for a big exam, managing study routines/systems

- preparing for IEP meetings, case transitions, managing treatment planning, and ethically discharging. 

 

Supports for Students 

Tutoring and Exam Preparation

Student support is an hourly service meant to provide academic and applied knowledge building in preparation for board examination and meeting of degree requirements. 

Supports for students include structured/guided board examination preparation and individualized/ need-based tutoring. 

Consultation for professionals 

Quality & Compliance and Case Consultation

Consultation is an hourly service designed to support the delivery of quality clinical service provision for your clients and their families, and strengthen your conceptual and applied knowledge. Consultation may include one-time or regular case review and support, according to need and ongoing progress.

Consultation services include Quality & Compliance Consultation and Case Consultation. 
 

Supports for Parents/Caregivers 

Parent Coaching and Support 

Caregiver supports are designed to empower parents/caregivers with practical, evidence-based tools, confidence, and a deeper understanding of behavior-environment interactions. Focus is on individualizing support based on what is important to you and your family, and what works within your family system and current environment. My approach is centered in a progressive, compassionate, neuroaffirming and family-centered, evidence-based perspective. 

Supports for caregivers include in-home intensive coaching program, and virtual and in-person individualized parent coaching.
